Adventures Along the Oregon Coast

My mom spent an entire day driving along part of the Oregon Coast.  We made the most of our day and I stopped to take a ton of photos.  Enjoy!

I spent the morning taking photos around the Whale Cove Inn before we checked out...

The cove actually looked quite different than the night before since it was low tide this time of day

We headed off toward the south to explore a bit before heading back north towards Portland.  Our first stop was Cape Foulweather.  Luckily it didn't live up to its name that day!

After Cape Foulweather, we made our way to the lighthouse at Yaquina Head.

The mathematician in me couldn't resist photographing this graph for later use with my students...

The coast near the lighthouse.

We then drove down the coast a ways and I stopped to get a shot of the lighthouse from a distance.

Our next stop for photos was Devil's Punchbowl.  I was a bit bummed it was still low tide and therefore not full, but my mom assures it me it is an amazing site when it is full!

We then headed north up the coast and made sure to stop at the Tillamook Cheese Factory!
